Hello there I’m Danielle I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2009, however I have also been conducting Puppy Socialisation courses for the past 6 years.
A well behaved dogs are a joy to live with and I want you to share the same experience with you and your pet.
I have more than fifteen years of dog ownership and training experience in a variety of dog sports as well as an MSc in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling.
I have developed an expertise in getting puppies off to the best start in life. Junior School classes are for older puppies and dogs and I offer 1-2-1s, specialist classes such as recall and scentwork and behavioural advice.
I use kind effective methods to help build a lifelong relationship between dogs and their owners.
It is natural for all puppies to want to chew. From an early age they begin to lose their temporary teeth and their new permanent teeth begin to make their appearance.
It is important that your puppy learns to accept you touching him all over his body, including the ears and mouth.
We all love to cuddle and play with our puppy and the majority of interaction we have with them is very pleasurable - often we wish they could remain at this stage for a bit longer.
Many dogs suffer from possessive related aggressive behaviour in adult life.
It is important to accustom your new puppy to periods of separation at an early age to prevent possible problems in the future.
Training should be fun! A positive relaxed environment will encourage your dog to perform and learn more quickly.
Puppies will spend a lot of their time jumping up.
Take your dog outside frequently.
