Delivery Terms

SHIPPING IS A 'WALK IN THE PARK'

Here you will find all the information you will need about how we post, ship and deliver our parcels. If you desperately need your new goodies on a Saturday ready to make some tails wag, or you just need some further help, please contact us. We would love to hear from you!

Please note that where reference is made to working days in this section this means any day which is not the weekend or a Bank Holiday in England.

Please also note that with our delivery options insurance cover is available for all products up to the value of £500. Should you require additional insurance cover, then please contact our customer service team at 01208 420 999 or by writing to us at hello@smartbreeder.com  prior to placing your order. 

UK STANDARD DELIVERY

UK Standard Royal Mail Delivery is FREE on orders of £80* or over, or £5.95 for orders under £80.00 (please note dispatch is normally within 24 hours of receiving your order excluding weekends and Bank Holidays. Should the 24-hour period fall on a weekend or Bank Holiday then dispatch will be arranged for the next working day). 

*This promotion excludes international deliveries. Please also note that our dog / puppy food, due to the bulky nature of the shipping requirements do incur a shipping charge which will be calculated at checkout based on the overall weight. 

If you have purchased more than one product and the products purchased consist of bulky product(s) such as 15KG bags of food, such bulky products will be dispatched as separate parcels, therefore, they may not turn up on the same day due to our courier's scheduling. We do try to dispatch them all at once, via separate tracking numbers due to the size. You will not be charged extra for the separate parcels. 

Deliveries will be made within 2-5 working days after you place your order for e.g. If you order on Wednesday your goods should be delivered by the following Monday. We shall notify you of any delay in delivery. Order tracking is available by logging into your account.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver on bank holidays or Sundays. In this instance, please expect your delivery on the next working day. We do not dispatch on bank holidays.

This is also the standard delivery option we shall use unless you select any other delivery option for the UK, for international deliveries please see below. 

RAW FOOD

Deliveries for a product(s) which is raw food will be delivered directly from our supplier. Due to the nature of the product, we have to take extra care with deliveries, so there is a premium delivery fee on these products, we can only accept orders Monday to Wednesday before 3pm on these products. You can expect your delivery within 5 Working Days of us accepting your order. 

 

 

DPD NEXT DAY GUARANTEED (1-2 business days)

(this is only available for the UK)

DPD Next Day Guaranteed UK (1-2 Business days), is only available when you order before 11am Monday to Thursday. The cost of this service is £12.95 for all orders placed being shipped within the UK. (Please note your order will be dispatched same day if ordered before 11am Monday to Thursday)*

INTERNATIONAL/REST OF THE WORLD

International and Rest of the world delivery is available when you order Monday to Thursday. The cost of this service is £24.99 for all orders placed being shipped outside the UK. (Please note your order will be dispatched same day if ordered before 11am Monday to Thursday)

Deliveries will be made via Evri and are normally 7 – 10 working days (however, a lot quicker at times), only if your order is received before 11am Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day otherwise the order will be dispatched the next working day.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver on bank holidays or Sundays. In this instance, please expect your delivery on the next working day. We do not dispatch on bank holidays.

TERMS OF POSTAGE

Any promotional product that does not fall under the general postage terms and conditions will have a standard postage charge as outlined above, except if it is not the UK, for example, the FREE PUPPY PACK will have a UK Standard Delivery charge for the delivery service.

You will not be eligible for a refund on the postage if you misread the wording on our shipping policy and your order was placed after the cut off time and dispatched on the next working day using the service paid for. 

Our warehouse and dispatch times are Monday to Friday 9am until 3pm if you order after 3pm your order will not be dispatched until the next working day.
